Hažbić Samir was born in Jajce, on June 24, 1969. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (Department of Painting) in 2000 in the class of professor Nusret Pašić.
A member of the Association of Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2014. Manager of the Jajce City Gallery since 2012.
Participated in several individual and group exhibitions in B&H and abroad, most noteworthy being: OBALOM PLIVE (ALONG THE PLIVA RIVER), Jajce Cultural Center (2008); PORTRETI (PORTRAITS), Jajce Cultural Center (2014); FUDBAL BiH (SOCCER IN B&H), SLIKAR Gallery Sarajevo (2015). Regular participant in humanitarian art colonies in B&H.
